I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate this occasion. We had a memorable lunch here as I cooked lunch for some very special guests.
Definitely a challenge to pinpoint my favourite moment as there were many. The joy & appreciation from the children from Ukraine as they received their gifts says it all for me. The lads from a beautiful charity called Casa Vanessa came to help me prepare for the lunch. Casa Vanessa is a house where children live whose parents are not able to look after them anymore.
At one point I looked around the table & smiled as we had people from all over the world coming together to share food and connect ~ our guests were from Italy, Spain, France, Ukraine, UK, Argentina, Sweden and little old me waving the Aussie flag. Many people here in Mussomeli donated food and gifts for the children.
It truly was a day that I will never forget. Sending you all my best for the New Year and thank you for your support.
